Economical Condition:

Women were economically put in disadvantageous conditions. Firstly, most of these women workers come from the countryside where their parents are farmers. After the formation of new government policy due to the industrialization, the farmers were taxed; thus, they inevitably sent their daughters to earn for their family. However, there was also severe wage discrimination against women workers. (Reference 1)
